Okay, Okay, Okay...

Okay, okay, okay... I'm finally posting some (keyword: some) pictures from NYC. There's only 3, but there's more to come.

I of course took pictures of Times Square, but we've all seen those pictures before. I wanted to take pictures that would make you all ask "I want to know their story..." Here's 3 of my favorites.

The first picture was as we were landing in NYC, taken from my airplane window. This one isn't so much of the "I wanna know their story" as more like "What are all those metal containers??" (and dang, Bethany got a great window seat instead of the aisle like normal!)

The 2nd is a lady on Time Square who was charging $2.00 for people to take her picture. Makes ya wonder what goes on in her mind to stand at a place like Times Square wearing only a bikini, boots and a cowboy hat, playing her guitar (not that well) and charging people to take her picture. Obviously she's doing something because there were people all around her, and I was interested enough to take her picture! (side note - i was quick and she didn't see me - I'm not paying $2!)

The 3rd picture is a man who has been playing his violin in the subway tunnels for years. My friends that were with me said he's been doing this for years, and that the major papers in NYC have all done stories on him. He keeps coming back night after night to play his violin.

I have more to post, including a shot of a pretty fun baker at the bakery Sharon, Scott, and I went to, but I guess you'll just have to wait. (muah ha ha ha...)
