Welcome to LA

Well - we finally made it out to LA! I have to admidt, the airport was not a welcome sight. It wasn't as clean as I was thinking it would be, and had a weird odor to it...

Once Danielle, Jonathan, Mike, and I got out of the airport, we got to go pick out our rental car. I guess you can tell when you're in a big city - you can pick your own rental car. They told us to go out to the lot and pick from row # 7, so we ended up with a Jeep Liberty. (Had to have a bigger car because of all of our stuff!)

After getting the car, we drove over to the Home Depot Center to get our credentials and check out our signage at X-Fest. WOW! That's all I can say. WOW! Here are some photos (remember, the event doesn't actually start until tomorrow, so these aren't the "final" version...) we took today at the venue:

After we got our credentials, we headed to our hotel to check-in. Although, we couldn't check-in yet, so we drove around LA for a bit (WHAT A HEADACHE THAT WAS!) Here are some photos from our brief sight-seeing tour:

I never realized how bad the smog was in LA until I saw it today!

Now it's off to dinner to celebrate my birthday, and then work like crazy the next 4 days. Watch out LA - here comes ChaCha!!!!
