Last Monday evening, Mike and I met up with one of the fosters from Love of Labs rescue to meet our new puppy! (UPDATE: WE NAMED HIM RILEY!)
We brought him home Monday night, and between the excitement of coming to a new house, meeting another dog, a new cat (who wasn't too fond of him at that moment), trying to learn to go potty outside, and it raining non-stop - we had quite an evening!
Luckily, the sun has come out since last Monday and he's now sleeping through the night. Mike has already taught him "Sit" "Down" and "Come."
This little guy is pretty special to Mike and I. He was born on December 17 - our Anniversary! (And Josh and Phoebe's birthdays too!)
After Easter dinner today at Matt & Sarah's house, Mike and I gave the pup a bath. We figured he would like it because in the mornings, he tries to climb in the shower when we are getting ready for work.Yeah - apparently that was just a "phase" because I've never seen a dog try to climb out of the bathtub as quick as he did!
After his bath, he cuddled up with Mike for a few cute pictures.
