Well, now that life has slowed down just a wee bit, and after being reminded of NYC on New Years Eve watching the ball drop (and soooo wishing that Mike and I were there) I decided it was time to take a peek at some of those shots from 6 months ago.
Looking at these shots reminded me of the fun my brother and I had, even if it was just one afternoon and evening. It was a day I'll never forget. I think it was the first time in YEARS that my brother and I were able to hang out, just the two of us, doing something together that we both enjoyed. Love ya Bubba! (Yes Mom, you can wipe away your tears now...)
Here are some of my favorites from our adventure on 6/23/09:
This horse was sitting at the entrance to Central Park. I just thought he looked interesting.

This sign was sitting outside a cute little eatery inside Central Park. My brother and I almost stopped here to eat, but we wanted to get more shots in before the sun went down.

There were park benches all throughout Central Park. This particular bench was across from the Carousel. I thought the plaque was pretty neat :)

Here's a post that stood next to the Carousel. It had very intricate designs that I thought were beautiful.

I'm sure many of you have seen this shot of Central Park in numerous movies. I wish I could have gotten closer to the couple towards the front of the image w/o looking like a goof...

For those of you who know my brother, then you'll understand why I have a few shots of this store. (Gotta admit, I'm turning into an Apple geek myself... Thanks Bubz!) One is from the front of the store and the second is from behind the entrance to the store. If you've never been there, it's AH-MAY-ZING! You go underground to enter the store... pretty cool...

Well, hopefully it won't take me 6 months next time to put up photos from fun trips with my brother. Although, 6 months from now, I'll be EXCITED to put up photos of my brothers soon to be little baby!!! (Due April 30) Can't wait!
